Reading and writing blogs is something I thoroughly enjoy. I hear from others on a site I regularly blog, ActiveRain.com, who tell of their beginnings in writing a blog. How it scared the bejeebies out of them (sp?); it did me too for a while. Anyway, writing has grown to be a passion of mine; to convey a message in the best possible way for the reader to understand. But it’s also my voice for what I do.
I Love What I Do! Helping people solve problems is only the beginning of what I do. When people plan a move from point A to point B, they have a strategy. We work together with that strategy. But my strategy has an extra twist included for the buyer.
Understanding the total cost of ownership of a home is what drives me. It’s what gives my buyers an ah-ha moment. They see the transparency when looking at the utility bills of a seller and when they see the results of an energy audit that I providecomplimentary to them during their purchase process.
During the last few years of providing complimentary energy audits to buyers, I’ve NEVER once had anyone back out of a purchase because they learned there are ways to make a home more energy efficient. They’ve never once said, “Heck, I’m outta here.”
Buyers understand they are not purchasing a new home, but with my guidance they know how to make it better. I can help them to understand that there are easy fixes to a home and short paybacks on certain energy efficiency upgrades that are simple. This is part of the ah ha moment and why I Love What I Do!
